Columbus Alternative High School is partnering with Nationwide Children’s Hospital to implement a Suicide Prevention Program. The Program reduces student suicide risk by providing education for students, staff and family around depression, suicide and teaching specific ways to respond to mental health warning signs. Attend a Columbus City Schools College Credit Plus Meeting for 6th-11th grade students and their parents/guardians!Students wishing to participate in CCP should attend one of these meetings with a parent/guardian before applying for admission. Students and parents who do not attend one of the above meetings must arrange a separate CCP counseling session with their school counselor prior to participation in CCP. CCP is available to students in grades 7-12. CCP opportunities at public institutions are free; there may be potential costs to participating at nonpublic institutions.   Read More >
